Pitchfork Presents: The Flaming Lips ‘The Soft Bulletin’ Documentary

Pitchfork.tv today presents a 45-minute documentary on the Flaming Lips’ classic 1999 album The Soft Bulletin.

For the film, Pitchfork traveled to Oklahoma City to talk to the band and others from the Lips’ camp regarding the creation of one of the 1990s’ definitive rock records. It features rare footage and photographs as well as interviews with Wayne Coyne, Steven Drozd, Michael Ivins, producer Dave Fridmann, and manager Scott Booker. It was directed by RJ Bentler.
