Here’s a great companion piece for the real doll documentary I posted about a few months ago. It seems the British have a knack for finding weird American’s engaged in experience relationships with everything other than a human being. In this case, vehicles. Not just cars, but helicopters and planes as well. Yes, even Airwolf. ‘My Car Is My Lover’ follows two men who are known as ‘mechaphiles’. That’s somebody who is in love with their vehicle. I’ll admit, the original 1966 Batmobile is a pretty kick ass piece of machinery, but for me it stops there. For these two fellas, the tailpipe is the anus and the curvaceous body of a Volkswagon Beetle is an appropriate receptacle for their ‘love seed’. Strange indeed. Possibly a touch exploitive and slightly unbelievable, My Car Is My Lover is definitely an interesting watch. Check it out below.

OMG I just watched the episode, and it ended with the best line, “Did you really Jizz on my Car?” You had to pay attention it was almost inaudible. Hillarious!
I have no problem with the younger guy, but I feel that Edward’s behavior is way out of line. My car is very important to me, and if somebody raped it I would be furious!

I watched this last night, both of these guys need a reality check. I wish the Edward would have got his ass kicked for touching other peoples cars like that. He’d have one time to even touch one of my cars, it would be a bad deal for everyone… The quote at the end was freakin hilarious. I rewound the dvr to make sure that’s actually what I heard.. lolol
Saw the show last night and was about as disturbed as after I saw documentary ‘whole’. Mmkay, the behavior Edward displayed was criminal. He should be hospitalized and/or commited. He is obviously engaqged in very high-risk behavior which could seriously harm himself and/or others. Can you imagine the harm it would do to any individual (child or otherwise) to come across this man in this perversive act in a parking lot? If he had curbed the behavior to his garage, it would be slightly different. I still say this man is a threat to himself and more importantly, the community he lives in.
Does anyone have a contact info on the car lovers forum or with some of the interviewees? I’m trying to get them for a non-exploitative interview to talk about the phenomenom.

I find this documentary very creative. Car lovers can really relate to this documentary. There are people who are very attached to their cars and the worst and funny thing is that, they love their car more than their girlfriends.
