The trailer is out for Alex Gibney’s latest film, the Hunter S. Thompson doc ‘Gonzo’. I still haven’t seen Gibney’s ‘Taxi to the Dark Side’, but both films look to be well crafted and entertaining (Gonzo) or informative (Taxi). Gibney seems to have a knack for mixing talking heads and stock footage with exciting results. Also worth noting is the narration provided by Johnny Depp. A truly appropriate nod to Gilliam’s Fear and Loathing and a cool sort of cross over between the two films.
